Berenice - Character Design

Concept Design Character.

The goal was designing a Yandere character.

Berenice has a Design inspired by some anime yandere ladies I like and a bunch of songs, including "An Unhealth Obcession", the lyrics she is speaking in the second image.

Some cool facts about the design: Berenice's hair is based in a poisoned plant image. Her face is hearted-shaped, with her hair string not letting it makes a whole heart. That was symbolical, meaning her heart is never full. And her name is token from Edgar Allan Poe's short story "Berenice", one of my favorites stories. (Although some people may not agree with me, I think that story is about a abusive relationship).
